Teela is a Body Inclusive, Licensed Marriage and Family Psychotherapist in California with over a decade of experience working in advocacy capacities to help meet the underlying needs of children, families and individuals alike. She is extremely passionate about creating a space where men and women can feel safe, seen, and respected, so they can release shame, heal trauma, and create a life where they truly thrive.
Teela integrates her knowledge in trauma recovery, post-traumatic growth, gut health, neuropsychology, mind-body connection, spirituality, culture, financial empowerment, personal/professional development, attachment, parenting, and relationships into a unique intergated holistic approach that helps her clients to thrive in all areas of life.
Teela is also a Peristeam Facilitator and Certified Yoga Instructor (RYT-200) who integrates vaginal/lingam Steams and trauma sensitive yoga into her approach to maximize the way we bring the body into balance. Additionally, she is theFounding Owner of Reign In US “Understanding Self”, an Integrative Mental Health Private Practice in California that empowers clients with the knowledge, tools, and courage to overcome life’s toughest challenges.
Teela’s calling is to be a light guide and aid individuals in understanding themselves at their core. Her clients appreciate her blend of knowledge, empathy, humor and her down-to-earth approach to therapy. She creates a safe empowering space where clients can heal, learn to love and accept themselves, and reconnect with their authentic divine selves, their intuition, and their voice.
Jessica is founder of Middle Path Movement and Egolution and has been teaching and practicing yoga in all its forms for several years. She has been traveling the world, studying alternative therapies for over 11 years and hosts retreats and yoga teacher training courses worldwide. She is an accredited E-500 RYT and YACEP Qualified Trainer, Reiki Master and Thai massage therapist.
Having explored several cultures from a very young age and studied alongside multiple indigenous teachers, she shares her personal experiences in all stems of yoga but finds the most vibrancy in studying and teaching about the philosophy of yoga. Part of Jessica’s own personal holistic practice is writing, and she has recently published her first book, ‘Egolution-Volume 1-Revolution Starts Within’ a collection of philosophical poems written after the stillness of meditation.
