See below a recommended equipment checklist:
Daypack:
Ø Approximately 3000 to 3500 cubic inches Duffel Bag: (Nepal Trekking Routes Treks will supply 1 complimentary water and wind proof duffel/kit bag between 2, but an extra big duffel bag/suitcase is necessary for non-trek items left at the hotel in Kathmandu
Ø Down Jacket: (Your own Down Jacket is strongly recommended, but we also supply complimentary down which must be returned at the completion of the trek)
Ø Sleeping bag rated to zero degrees F * (Your own sleeping bag is recommended, but we also supply complimentary sleeping bags which must be returned at the completion of the trek)
Head:
Ø Sun hat or scarf
Ø Light or warm fleece hat
Ø Sunglasses with UV protection
Feet:
Ø Thin, lightweight inner socks
Ø Thick, warm and wool hiking socks
Ø Trekking boots with spare laces
Ø Camp shoes (sneakers and/or sandals)
Hands:
Ø Lightweight gloves
Ø Heavyweight gloves with a waterproof shell outer
Ø Headlamp (e.g. Petzl Zoom) with spare bulbs and batteries
Ø Small pad or combination lock-to-lock
Ø Basic First Aid Kit
Ø Large plastic bags – for keeping Items dry inside trek bag
Ø Trekking Poles
Ø Water bottles
Ø Toiletries (Small wash towel, Toilet papers etc)
Ø Ear Plug (who knows some people on group might snore!)
Ø Binoculars
Ø Reading book/ Trail Map/Guide book/ Journal & Pens
Ø Travel games i.e., cards
